AWA Heads to Le Mans

Oh Canada!

3D Rendering by DAKINS DESIGN

After winning the IMSA Bob Akin award for the highest finishing Bronze driver, AWA’s Orey Fidani earned the Canadian team an entry into the 2025 24 Hours of Le Mans.

Wanting to showcase the team’s Canadian roots, the team wanted to fly the Maple Leaf high around the Circuit de la Sarthe this June.

Taking cues from their IMSA livery for this season, the design was colour-swapped to the red-and white of the Canadian flag, with Maple Leafs added into the JPS-insipred linework, as well as predominantly on the hood/front of the car.

The design is already getting a lot of attention, with articles on IMSA.com, Racer.com, Sportscar365, dailysportscar.com. It’s also currently sitting at over 20,000 likes on the IMSA/AWA Instagram account in less than 24 hours, proving that good design and realistic 3D renderings can go a long way to increase engagement.
